Discovering Lego Mindstorms.
More than a toy, Lego Mindstorms is the perfect tool for a creative brain.
Homemade Gramophone (Phonograph)
I'm ending the year listening old music from Vinyl disks, So I build my home-made gramophone using a pin and a plastic cup. With my lego set of "mindstorms" I was able to spin the disk at 33 RPM (approximately). Here are some photos an a video of my gramophone. (12/31/2006)
Hacking the LEGO NXT
As the LEGO NXT is more complicated than the RCX; I had to do my own research to be able to hack the NXT connectors. Here is some interesting information about the signals from LEGO Mindstorms NXT. (8/2/2007)
NTX Gramophone / Vinyl Record Player
This is my second version of my homemade Gramophone/Phonograph using my LEGO Mindstorms NTX. (2/11/2007)
Robotic Arm
This Mechanical arm is quite impressive and interesting to build. (3/18/2006)
Rotating Cake Tray with Lego
Anyone that decorates cakes knows how difficult is to stop frecuently to rotate the cake and continue to decorate it or apply the frosting. This rotating cake tray helps to easy the process of decoration. (11/5/2006)
Trying to build a "Robot"
After I sucessfully built the first one, I tried to build a second one.
Super Simple Sun Tracker.
Without using complex circuits and sensors, I was able to make my simple home-made Sun Tracker. This one only needs Solar cells, a motor and some gears. (11/20/2007)
Totally crazy LEGO Story.
I was sick and bored. As I'm not able to go to the movies with my honey bun, I decided to make this silly story. (09/22/07)
A "Walking" Robot
Previous robots are more like a "toy Car", this one walks.
Walking Robot III.
Powered by a solar cell, this walking robot can walk using four legs. NO RCX or sensors used, Just gears, one motor and solar power. (11/29/2007)
Walking Robot IV.
An improved version of my "solar-powered four-legged all-terrain walking robot" can walk using four legs. Fasters and better movements. No RCX, no NTX or sensors used, Just gears, one motor and solar power. (11/30/2007)
