Happy 2008 from Google

As every holiday, GOOGLE display a nice logo according to the holiday, but this time, Google is saying something else than "Happy 2008". Is it a subliminal message? (12/31/2007)

google 2008 I guess you already notice the logo from the search engine GOOGLE, but this time there is something interesting.

If you pay attention to it, there is confetti under the word "GOOGLE". The confetti on the floor looks like letters... isn't?

I believe there is a message, but I'm not able to read it. I'm sure there is something; I can see something like SYINSCACKA... I'm not sure. Maybe you have an idea what it says and let me know.

Happy New Year 2008!

1/1/2008 - Update: Finally I found what it means.

Under the GOOGLE logo, it says "SYN SYN / ACK ACK". The image is not only making reference about the new year, it also making reference about 25 years of TCP/IP.

Google solution. That is the way how sockets are established in getting a device talking with a server. The Internet protocol suite is the set of communications protocols that implement the protocol stack on which the Internet and most commercial networks run.

According to Wikipedia, The Internet protocol suite came from work done by Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in the early 1970s. After building the pioneering ARPANET in the late 1960s, DARPA started work on a number of other data transmission technologies.

It wasn't until January 1st, 1983 A full switchover to TCP/IP on the ARPANET took place. So, Today, January 1st of 2008 is the 25th anniversary.
